Refund policy

The same return policy applies to all customers, wherever you live.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You can cancel your purchase of physical items without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving them.

To cancel, send us a clear statement by email to info@darksynthambient.com, through the contact form, or by requesting a return from your customer account, before the 14 days have passed. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to.

You must send the item back within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling, to: Dark Synth Ambient, Thore Ellingsens veg 20B, 4352 Kleppe, Norway.

You pay the cost of returning the item. Every piece is printed on demand for your order and ships from our production partners, so return postage to Norway from abroad can be significant. Please check sizes and details before ordering.

We refund the price of the item and the standard delivery cost you paid within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. We may hold back the refund until we have received the item or you have shown proof that you sent it. The refund uses the same payment method you used. There is no restocking fee.

You may inspect the item as you would in a shop. If the item has been used beyond that, or is damaged, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

Cancelling before shipping

You can cancel an order at no cost until it has been shipped. Contact us as soon as possible, as production often starts within a day.

Faulty, damaged or misprinted items

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, defective or is not what you ordered, email info@darksynthambient.com with your order number and a clear photo of the problem. We will send a free replacement or give you a full refund. You do not need to send the item back.

Your statutory rights for faulty goods apply in full: as a consumer you can complain about a defect for up to two years after delivery, and up to five years for goods intended to last considerably longer. You must notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect, and within two months is always considered reasonable.

Wrong size or changed your mind

A wrong size or colour is not a fault. Within the 14 days you can use your right of withdrawal as described above. We do not offer free exchanges, because each item is made individually and cannot be restocked.

Digital downloads

Music and artwork downloads are delivered immediately after purchase. By completing the purchase you agree that delivery starts right away, and you accept that the right of withdrawal ends once the download link has been sent. Digital downloads can therefore not be returned or refunded, unless the file is faulty or cannot be downloaded. If that happens, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
